With so many distractions in this modern world, the skill set of reading seems to be one of the biggest victims of the modern era.
Although I write in the fiction genre, my books are fused with non-fiction, and in the case of Tropannos, I have taken my real-life experiences as a medical executive and spun them into compelling fiction. Valuable information that people should know that no major publishing house will give me the chance to tell you.
That is what we are missing by not supporting independent writers and their works, their acquired information. So, take a minute to pat yourself on the back as you deserve it, you are making the time to gain information you did not possess before, bettering yourself and the world possibly. At no time in my life has reading been construed as so non-important as it is now, yet you are in that place where you want to get the esoteric and be enlightened. So, kudos to you reader.
